Liverpool Social Care Partnership is hold training to celebrate World Asthma Day 2017, Below if information about the training and booking form provided should you wish to attend.
  • In the UK, around 5.4 million people are currently receiving treatment for asthma.
  • That's the equivalent of 1 in every 12 adults and 1 in every 11 children.
  • Asthma in adults is more common in women than men.
  • UK still has some of the highest rates in Europe
  • On average 3 people a day die from asthma.

According to World Health Organisation estimates, 300 million people suffer from asthma and it’s the most common chronic disease among children. WHO also notes that asthma affects people in all countries around the world regardless of development although most deaths occur in lower income countries.
