Wellbeing – Living With Stress (Online)
This course introduces the impact of stress on everyday life, helping learners recognise common signs and triggers, and develop practical strategies to manage stress.
Learning Outcomes
The Wellbeing Session – Living with Stress course provides learners with an understanding of stress, how it can affect everyday life, and the importance of developing healthy approaches to managing pressure. Participants will explore common causes and triggers of stress, recognising that individuals may experience and respond to stressful situations in different ways.
The course examines the physical, emotional, and behavioural signs of stress, helping learners recognise when stress may be beginning to affect their health, relationships, work, or overall wellbeing. Participants will consider how prolonged or unmanaged stress can influence both physical and mental health.
Learners will explore practical strategies for managing stress, including relaxation techniques, maintaining healthy routines, setting boundaries, managing workloads, and developing positive coping approaches. The session encourages individuals to recognise their own stress triggers and identify strategies that work effectively for them.
The training also highlights the importance of resilience, self-awareness, and seeking support when needed. Participants will consider how communication, social support, and making time for personal wellbeing can help reduce the impact of stress and improve their ability to cope with challenging situations.
Throughout the session, emphasis is placed on developing realistic and practical approaches that learners can apply in their everyday lives to manage stress, maintain balance, and support their overall health and wellbeing.
