Connecting Care, One Event At a Time

LSCP hosts a range of events throughout the year. Below is a chronological breakdown of LSCP’s events planned for the year.

LSCP Events Calendar 2025/26

The Social Care Job Fair is an open recruitment event designed to connect local people with real career opportunities in the care sector. Hosted by Liverpool Social Care Partnership CIC, the fair brings together care providers, training organisations, and job seekers under one roof to highlight the diverse range of roles available in adult social care — from entry-level care assistants to specialist positions and management pathways.

As part of our CIC commitment, this event is delivered free of charge to both employers and job seekers. Our aim is to support the local workforce, showcase the value of care careers, and break down misconceptions about the sector. Attendees will be able to meet employers face-to-face, learn about training routes, and access support to begin or progress a rewarding career in care.

This network will aim to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and its usage within care, discuss constraints and challenges to accessing them, connect care providers with authorities such as the police and local authorities, and enrich cyber awareness of the care workforce via fact finding exercises and keynote speakers, including IT professionals, industry leaders, Better Security, Better Care, etc..

The Network will meet thrice every year, with 1 face to face meeting, and 2 virtual meetings annually.

The Partnership Meeting brings together registered managers and care leaders to share sector updates, strengthen local networks, and engage directly with key stakeholders shaping adult social care. Past speakers have included representatives from local authorities, CQC, DBS, ICBs, and prevention teams, providing valuable insights on policy, regulation, workforce development, and sector priorities.

These meetings are designed to keep managers up to date with national and regional developments, create space for open discussion of challenges and good practice, and ensure providers have a direct line to decision-makers. Above all, they are about connection — enabling managers to build supportive peer networks, hear from expert speakers, and exchange practical experiences that can be taken back to their services.
