The Liverpool Social Care Partnership recently brought together professionals from across the health and social care sector to share updates, best practice, and opportunities for collaboration.
Speakers and presentation notes:
Sana Din of the Nursing and Midwifery Council, who outlined the free support, resources, and tools available through the Employer Link Service to help organisations strengthen their workforce.
Diane Clayton, Strategic Commissioning Manager at Liverpool City Council, provided an update on the local care market, discussing current recruitment challenges, workforce development priorities, and progress on the Unicity Pilot.
Lynne Horton, Digital Skills Development Lead at the National Care Forum, who explored the growing role of digital skills, care technology, and digital transformation in improving care delivery and supporting the workforce.
Louie Werth, Founder and Director of Care Research, who provided valuable insights into the Care Quality Commission’s Single Assessment Framework and what it means for providers preparing for future assessments.
The meeting concluded with a networking session, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with colleagues, share experiences, and discuss collaborative approaches to addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the social care sector.
The event reinforced the importance of partnership working, workforce development, digital innovation, and quality improvement in supporting the delivery of high-quality care across Liverpool.
