Who are Liverpool Social Care Partnership CIC?

Liverpool Social Care Partnership (LSCP) was formed in 2001. Since its inception, it has developed into a sound, focused consortium comprising organisations from the Social Care sector.

We are a Social Enterprise which specialises in Social Care sector issues, helping to raise the standards of practise throughout the sector.  The Partnership is viewed as a valuable means of drawing together providers to share information, networks and promote best practice.

Liverpool Social Care Partnership CIC is a values-based organisation, where flexibility and innovation are based on high degrees of trust and mutual respect. We believe that all people are treated fairly and respect and welcome diversity and difference.

LSCP Training

At Liverpool Social Care Partnership we run the events and training that the Social Care Sector needs. The sessions are designed to give practical understanding and a working knowledge of the subject area.

LSCP has responded to our members’ needs and to the current economic climate by developing a series of workshops that are specifically designed for care and support workers.

If you are in need of a specific type of training, please contact us to discuss the matter further.

Our interview sessions are built into our pre-employment training programme for candidates who have recently completed and are now ready to begin a career in adult social care.

Data Security
Protection Toolkit

The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is an annual self-assessment for health and care organisations. It shows care providers what needs to be done to keep people’s information safe, and to help protect your business from the risk of a cyber attack or a data breach. It covers both digital and paper records.

LSCP has been awarded a grant to support local care providers on their data security journey as part of the national Better Security, Better Care programme

Our main focus is to help you to understand the importance of data and cyber security, and complete an annual, online self-assessment using the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).

Workforce Development Funding

The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) is a funding stream from the Department of Health disseminated by Skills for Care. It focuses on the achievement of qualification units and supports the ongoing professional development of staff across the adult social care sector.

For employers, accessing WDF significantly contributes towards the costs of workers completing qualifications on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF). It can also be used to help fund the delivery of Intermediate & Advanced Level Apprenticeships in Social Care.

Funding is only available for specific RQF qualifications, as outlined by Skills for Care.
