Social Care Job Fair!

We’re thrilled to share that our recent Social Care Job Fair at The Liner Hotel was a fantastic success! With over 130 attendees and 35 passionate employers, the event was full of energy, inspiration, and real opportunity.

We’ve just wrapped up another round of our Routeway programme, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who completed the Level 2 Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care course.
Over the last few weeks, learners have been building their knowledge, confidence and skills — and many now have job interviews lined up with local care providers. It's been a brilliant group, and we’re excited to see where their journeys take them next.

LSCP Easter Egg Hunt!
This Easter, our team took a well-deserved break for some festive fun with our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Friendly competition filled the air as employees searched high and low for hidden eggs around the office.
After the hunt, we gathered for a wind-down with warm cups of tea and slices of delicious pumpkin pie.
It was a great way to celebrate the season, connect with colleagues, and enjoy some springtime cheer!
Routeway Level 1 Graduation!

Another excited group of learners have successfully graduated from our Level 1 Routeway Course! They’re now prepared to take on exciting new roles in the social care sector as they have a chance to interview with some of our partners that have live vacancies. Alternatively, they could continue expanding their expertise in the field through our Level 2 Qualification.

We’re thrilled to celebrate the achievements of another brilliant cohort who’ve just completed our Level 2 Routeway Course! With new skills under their belts, they’re ready to step into meaningful careers in the social care sector. Many will now have the opportunity to interview with our partner organisations currently hiring, while others choose to keep the momentum going by progressing to our Level 2 Qualification. The journey doesn’t stop here!

LSCP Team Away Day!

The Team Away Day for staff took place on the canals in Burscough and offered a wonderful opportunity for team-building activities and having fun together. We spent the day relaxing on a barge and enjoyed a delightful lunch that included a variety of sides and desserts. There were lots of quizzes and games for everyone to participate in. Some team members even had the chance to pilot the barge through the canals. Throughout the day, we observed different types of waterfowl. The day was filled with laughter, delicious food, and excellent company, making it a true team-building experience.

The Summer BBQ with staff and families took place at our lovely Lowlands garden, and was a great opportunity for everyone to relax and have fun together. We enjoyed delicious BBQ classics like burgers, hot dogs, and a variety of sides and desserts. The kids had a blast with games, while the adults enjoyed good conversation and a laid-back atmosphere. The day was filled with laughter, good food, and great company, making it a memorable event for all. We’re already looking forward to our next gathering!

Social Care Job Fair held in Liverpool Science Park on the 26th of April 2024. An event organized by LSCP as the liaison between Social Care employers and potential employees looking to build a career in the Social Care sector.
