Matrix Accreditation

Information, advice and guidance (IAG) are central to the LSCP Strategic Aims to promote the advancement of education, knowledge and skills through the provision of pre/post-employment training and development within Liverpool and the North West; and to provide information, advice and guidance to individuals receiving and delivering social care.

The aims and objectives of the service include to provide a free confidential and impartial information and advice service which covers learning opportunities and qualifications available, along with written information on all courses and learning opportunities provided by LSCP; guidance on courses offered by other organisations where LSCP are unable to fulfil learner need; support during courses to assist learning, personal development and career progression; advice and support to enable learners with additional learning needs to study; and a signposting service to other providers and/or sources of information if LSCP is unable to offer the information, advice and guidance itself.
